UPDATED: Sleepovers are so not suitable for mommies of infants*. Esp if you’re BF-ing, you obviously need to bring your child, unless you plan on pumping every 3-4 hrs. With your child around, having a husband closeby wld be REAALLLY helpful too; and so u’ll need a separate room – for your husband and also for your child to sleep comfortably. Our darling babies need to be in bed by 10-ish, if not earlier, but they also wake up every now and then for a feed, a diaper change or even a cuddle. So even if they already went to bed, you actually still need to be there, at least within 5-10 min range. Oh wait, weren’t we talking about a sleepover?

Of course the late night gossip, giggles and hu-ha(s) wld be fun; do you think we never think abt being seventeen again or even just having a single night off ‘motherhood’ so we can sleep peacefully for a straight-8-hr? (I am not complaining; they’re absolutely the best gift life can give you, seriously) - but in case you don’t know yet, a child DOES change everything. But uh oh, I rest my case..
